Dialysis centre to hold fund-raising bazaar

-

KOTA KINABALU: Persatuan Hemodialisis Kinabalu Sabah is organizing a fund-raising charity bazaar in conjunction with the dialysis centre’s 13th-anniversary celebration on October 28 at Likas Sports Complex Badminton Hall. There will be more than 1,000 supporters coming to the charity bazaar, mainly those who have bought coupons, sponsors, participating outlets, performers, volunteers and patients.

The objective of the event is to raise fund for the dialysis centre, where all proceeds will be used for running its operations and cover the subsidy costs of treatment fees for the needy kidney patients.

Kwantas Corporation Berhad is the first to heed the centre’s urgent call to sponsor its patients and donated RM5,000 cash.

“Kwantas is a social responsible company that listens to the needs of the nation. Its caring nature has given the kidney patients hope and we are thankful for its continuous support for our fundraising activities. As a non-profit organization, we are in need of full support from everyone and hope that more companies can come in to support our charity bazaar,” said Simon Tan, the organising chairman of the bazaar.
