Ncmsb, CIMB Auto, Property Mart conduct digital Hybrid Auction
KOTA KINABALU: Ng Chan Mau & Co Sdn Bhd (Ncmsb) has conducted the first ever public auction that combines property and auto vehicles auction under one roof, in collaboration with CIMB Auto and Property Mart.
There were about 80 properties and 70 cars up for auction. Bidders were bidding their choice of cars online, using mobile device via the Internet.
After the auto vehicle online auction, there were bigger crowds of bidders attending to the property auctions. Bidders for property can bid online, as well as raising their paddle card to bid.
“We are offering convenience to our bidders by allowing conventional bidding card, and online bidding. Online bidders can bid live from anywhere so long they have internet access to our platform. We are the first auctioneer in Malaysia that offer this ‘Hybrid Auction’.
“We hope to attract more young bidders that are more online oriented” said Ncmsb director Low Chee Hian.
Low added, “We are constantly upholding the principles and values of public auctions towards transparency, where we promote public awareness for our auction fairs. These foreclosure properties and repossessed cars will be sold on an ‘as is, where is’ basis.
“We have always working with our client banks on how to improve auction property awareness by public, so that our auction can deliver the best price to the bank’s customers. Any excess of fund from the selling price after deducting the outstanding loan and costs will be returned to the customer.”
