Welfare institutions, NGOs receive donation
TAWAU: Sabah Softwoods Berhad (SSB) Tawau donated RM21,000 to seven welfare institutions and nongovernmental organisations here in conjunction with its Hari Raya open house at Dewan Sri Tawau recently.
Each of the recipients received RM3,000 presented by the chief executive officer, Mohd Hattah Haji Ja’afar.
The recipients were the Tawau Hospice Association, Aokam Deaf Centre, Taman Sri Stella Disabled Children Centre, AlRaudhoh Orphanage Home, Hotspring Old Folks Home, Kinabalu Pink Ribbon and SK Perdana Pasir Putih Tawau.
SSB chief financial officer Kunna Segar was also at the event which was attended by some 600 staff and invitees.
