Bureaucratic red tape need to be reduced – Cuepacs

-

KUALA LUMPUR: The Congress of Unions of Employees in Public and Civil Services (Cuepacs) has proposed that the government agencies and department to cut bureaucratic red tape to ensure the sustainability of the civil service.

Its president Datuk Azih Muda said the move was necessary to ensure that the public service delivery could be strengthened from time to time.

“Undoubtedly, the services provided by the civil servants are very important, and what the society requires is an effective delivery system. Hence, the government need to look at the delivery system to ensure that the services rendered will be faster and more efficient without going through the complicated bureaucratic red tape.

“The community will be more satisfied if the services to be provided quickly,” he said when contacted by Bernama.
