MMMC entrenched in Malaysia

-

WIDELY recognised as one of the top medical schools and a source of highly proficient medical professionals, MelakaManipal Medical College (MMMC) has been entrenched in Malaysia for over two decades.

MMMC’s reputation has spread all over the globe with many of its alumni practicing their wares all over the world including the USA, UK and Australia to name just a few countries.

MMMC’s repute stems from its incomparable academic delivery, with hands-on immersion right through its medicine and dentistry programmes. No wonder it has overflowing showcase of awards and an enviable collection of accolades.

MMMC’s MBBS and Dentistry programmes make for a unique study experience where its programs integrate science and clinical experience with in-depth study and independent research.

Students combine classroom learning with hands-on training in anatomy and other labs.

It emphasises on an integrative approach to healing where students learn how mental wellbeing affects physical health.

MMMC students are also given the opportunity to carry out research and it is no mean feat that some of them have had their studies published while still studying.

MMMC started with its wellreceived MBBS in 1997 and then the popular Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2009. A Foundation in Science (FIS) offers SPM leavers basic knowledge in medical and dental subjects before they enter their choice of degree studies.

MMMC offers scholarships to FIS students for those who had completed their SPM in 2017; even students with 5As will be able to obtain some monetary assistance as long as statutory entry requirements are met.

MBBS students can avail of PTPTN’s loan of RM150K, which goes a long way to help parents in getting their sons and daughters through medical schools. BDS applicants may also apply for PTPTN loans.

If students and parents had any hesitation due to financial constraints, they can rest easy now. With a hallmark of academic excellence and an enviable record of accomplishment in providing quality medical and dental education, MMMC is committed to providing a curriculum that offers diverse learning opportunities.

The commitment to excellence is one that is ‘Inspired by Life’ tempered with ethical service to the nation and humanity.

Online application can now be submitted for the July 2018 (FIS) and degree (October) intakes via www.manipal.edu/melaka. Or better still, drive to the Campus in Melaka and be convinced of the commitment of Melaka-Manipal to high quality education.
