Watsons Malaysia managing director Caryn Loh said that in an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle and to minimise the risk of contracting germs, bacteria or viruses, attention should be focused on what we use on our skin on a daily basis.

“Customers, especially mothers who purchase products for the household, have a major responsibility in choosing the right personal care products that are safe for the whole family.

“As such, at Watsons, we aim to educate our customers to be aware of the potential harmful effects from certain chemicals used in personal care product.

“Our collaboration with Betadine will provide customers more and better choices to make a smart purchase and eventually drive further growth in the liquid soap category,” Loh added.

During the launch of Betadine Natural Defense at the One Utama shopping mall, renowned consultant dermatologist Dr. Ch’ng Chin Chwen was invited to share her insights on how people can take preventive measures to avoid harmful chemical exposure to themselves and their family.
