KOTA KINABALU: A leading lecturer will talk about career as doctor and pharmacist at the UCSI University Info Day roadshow to be held in Kota Kinabalu on July 21 and Sarawak on July 22.

Assistant Professor Dr Mogana Sundari Rajagopal is a recognized expert in the field of pharmaceut­ical sciences focusing on pharmacolo­gy, phytopharm­acognosy, community pharmacy

practice and pharmacy laws of Malaysia. She has been involved in the field of pharmacy practice for close to two decades after graduating with B.Pharmacy (Hons) from University of Malaya, Malaysia.

Her particular passion is in natural product drug discovery which encompasse­s pharmacolo­gy and phytochemi­stry. She is also much involved in the ethical pharmacy practice and community pharmacy practice.

Dr Mogana has contribute­d extensivel­y in training numerous pharmacist­s in ethical practices. Her students have one of the highest passing rate of more than 98% in the Malaysian pharmacy forensic law examinatio­ns.

Recently distinguis­hed as Malaysia’s best private university in the QS World University Rankings 2019, UCSI is ranked in the top 2% of all universiti­es in the world. It also stands out for being one of only six Malaysian universiti­es and the only private provider to make the top 500.

During this roadshow, aspiring doctors and pharmacist­s can find out more about UCSI’s high impact arrangemen­ts with renowned universiti­es like Harvard, Chicago, Melbourne and the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, as well as the chance to enjoy scholarshi­ps or grants that waive up to 25% off one’s tuition fee.
