Free riding course for biker card holders

KOTA KINABALU: Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd recently organised an ID Advance Safety Riding Course for big bikers who bought their motorcycle­s from Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd.

The event was held at the Venition Club Penampang. ID Bikers were invited to join the course for free through the company’s ID Biker Programme. The course are also meant to increase motorcycle safety awareness and outreach by encouragin­g all motorists and motorcycli­sts to share the road. It is a one day course and around 20 participan­ts had joined.

As one of the largest big bike retailers in Sabah, Inti Deras Motors used this opportunit­y to payback its supporters and buyers as they promoised ‘Your bike, ID CARE’. Beginners need not worry how to ride their big bikes as Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd will teach them how. This course enables the company to prioritize motorcycle safety programs in the hope of reducing the accident rate among big bikes.

The course focuses on road safety knowledge, correct hand signal, bike handling and control such as the slalom 8 and zig zag, with a certified instructor to perform the course’s practical training. Besides that, Api-api Driving Center Institute was invited to give a short briefing to riders who wish to upgrade their license.

Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd will continue to promote the road safety programme and enhance its ID Biker programme and activities in future.
