KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli said investigation papers on the case involving former Sabah chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman was almost ready after being referred to the AttorneyGeneral's Chamber.

Ramli, however, said that additional information of recordings from several witnesses were needed to complete the investigation.

Musa is wanted for a police investigation into a report of criminal intimidation lodged by Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Tun Juhar Mahiruddin on May 14, about four days after the swearing-in of Musa, he said.

Ramli said that soon after the report was made, the police recorded a statement from Juhar.

Musa was sworn in as the chief minister on May 10 following the general election a day earlier after the Sabah BN declared victory by a simple majority.

However, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, president of Parti Warisan Sabah, was sworn in two days later after several BN assemblyman crossed over to Warisan.

Musa is also wanted for an ongoing investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission into alleged buying of assemblymen's support after the May 9 general election.

The former Sabah Barisan Nasional chairman was last seen in public leaving Sabah for Kuala Lumpur on May 14.
