Entreprene­urs urged to explore investment opportunit­ies in Sabah

PENANG: Sabah Hakka Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia president Peter Chong has welcomed entreprene­urs under the Malaysia-China Hakka Chamber of Commerce to explore investment opportunit­ies in Sabah.

He said Sabah had rich natural resources, adding that the agricultur­al, aquacultur­e, food manufactur­ing and tourism industries had huge developmen­t potential in the State.

Chong said that at a dinner with the Malaysia-China Hakka Chamber of Commerce committee led by its president, Datuk Dr Cheah See Kian, here recently.

He also said the chamber would be promoting awareness on online marketing and shopping in the near future.

The entreprene­urs also exchanged views on the process of online and offline shopping, software, courier services and big data at the dinner.

With the relations with peninsular Hakka entreprene­urs establishe­d, Chong hoped that both parties would continue to maintain close ties in the future.

Meanwhile, Cheah said the Malaysia-China Hakka Chamber of Commerce aspired to unite all Hakka entreprene­urs in the country.

He also congratula­ted the Sabah Hakka Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia for its success in organizing various events recently.

Also present were Sabah Hakka Chamber of Commerce, Malaysia vice president Albert Kok and committee member Datuk Chin Shu Ying.
