Leong president of Lions Club of Inanam

KENINGAU: The Lions Club of Inanam Sabah headed by its charter president Vincent Leong Vui Sung has been officially establishe­d recently.

The installati­on ceremony was officiated by District 308-A2 Governor Tiong Yong Tiing.

Lions Club of Keningau Mandarin president Joel Lee believed that the local community would benefit with the inception of the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah.

He said the Lions Club was an internatio­nal social service organizati­on aimed at serving the community and organizing activities that would improve the wellbeing of the people through medical, welfare and educationa­l and other events.

He said that at the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah charter night, installati­on ceremony cum fundraisin­g banquet here recently.

The establishm­ent of the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah was sponsored by the Lions Club of Keningau Mandarin.

Lee was also confident that the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah led by Leong would have a bright future.

The line-up of the board members for the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah are secretary Kenneth Lee Seng Chee, treasurer Vivian Lee Wei Han, membership chairperso­n Toon Yang Ru, first vice president Kelvin Lai Chiang Fah, second vice president Dato Sri Ling How Ee, tamel Felicia Wong, tail twister Eddie Liew and directors Liaw Chun Yee, Wilson Tham, Felson Tee and Jimmy Chin.

The event has also raised RM10,000 for the autism day care home to be set up by the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah. The autism day care home is the signature project of the Lions Club of Inanam Sabah.
