Inti Deras Motors launches all-new 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250
PENAMPANG: Inti Deras Motors will launch Kawasaki’s latest sports bike the 2018 Ninja 250. The brand-new Ninja formula bike comes with state-of-the-art face-lift, advanced new engines and styling, replacing the previous versions of Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Ninja 250 SL.
The 2018 Ninja 250 carries a 249 cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled power plant, DOHC, with eight valves. It produces an increase of 39 hp at 12,500 rpm and 23.5 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm +7PS (Horsepower) from the previous model and fuelled by EFI and twin 32 mm diameter oval throttle bodies.
New features for the all-new 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250 also includes:
* New Forge Camshaft engine. Contributes to weight reduction, saving about 200g.
* Sharp New Ninja Styling portrays a high class and futuristic design inspired by the Kawasaki Ninja H2. The large-volume bodywork attracts attention and gives the impression of a larger machine.
* The Ninja 250 is equipped with the same instrument cluster as the Ninja 650. The new sophisticated instrument design features a large analogue tachometer, gear position indicator and multi-function LCD screen.
* Available with Assist and slipper clutch. Contributes to lighter clutch pull and reduces rear wheel hop when downshifting, while contributing to cornering stability.
* New Twin LED headlights and tail lights. With the headlights high and low beam combined, are highly visible and increased brightness.
* The New Shorten Exhaust System is lighter and higher than the previous versions.
* The new Ninja 250 also displays a new wheel with 5-spokes which is similar to the Ninja 650. The front brakes are bigger with a single 310 mm diameter semi-floating petal disc in front, compared to 290 mm disc on the older Ninja.
The semi-floating petal disc has a stronger grip than the traditional fixed Disc.
The new Ninja 250 is a new gem for Kawasaki’s new sports model, it delivers impressive performance, more powerful and significantly lighter. Moreover, it also offers a stunning, highquality look, light and relaxed handling, and sporty riding position make it both fun and easy to ride.
There are two colour options for the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250 – Passion Red/Metallic Flat Spark Black and Pearl Solar Yellow/Pearl Storm Grey/Ebony.
The public will be able to experience the all-new Kawasaki Ninja 250 as it is available and has been displayed at Inti Deras Motors Sdn Bhd in Penampang since mid-August.
