Ruco prepares for hereafter, buys burial sites for self and fiancee

HONG KONG: This is creepy! They will be tying the knot only in October, but it is reported that Ruco Chan has already started looking at burial sites for himself and fiancee Phoebe Sin.

It looks like the 41-year-old actor is already planning and preparing for the future, what to do with their remains after death.

Not only that, recently Ruco also paid over HK$2 million for a total of 10 burial sites for his family, including one for his future wife, at a columbarium to entomb cremated ashes.

Naturally, he already had marriage plans also early in their relationship although he has dated Phoebe for only two years. Last year, Ruco bought a condo worth over HK$10 million under his mother’s name so the couple would have a place to live after getting married.

Meanwhile, on Ruco’s gesture to show Phoebe that he will take care of her until the very end, the 28-year-old actress said she was not aware of the purchase. Phoebe said, “Ruco didn’t mention about it before. I just know that marriage is a happy occasion, and I didn’t think that far ahead. Right now, I’ve only thought about my wedding plans and how to be a pretty bride. This is a once in a lifetime event after all.”

Asked if Ruco had spent HK$2 million on the burial sites, Phoebe said, “I’ve never talked to him about this; maybe you should ask and then let me know instead. I want to know too.”

Although uncertain if Ruco did purchase the burial sites, Phoebe complimented her fiancé for being thoughtful. Phoebe said, “When he’s working, he becomes very serious. I think that side of him is really cute.”
