Hezron disclosed that the ‘Karnival Kerjaya dan Pendidikan Penampang' is jointly organised by Pejabat Parliament Penampang and the Sabah Manpower Department.

“The carnival will commence at 9am and 15 companies as well as 15 public and private higher learning institutes will be there to offer employment and educational opportunities to job seekers and students.

“We expect about 5,000 visitors and on site job interviews will be conducted by the companies so I advise those seeking jobs to be prepared,” he said, adding that about 2,000 jobs as well as places in higher learning institutes would be up for grabs.

He said programs like the carnival was important not only for job seekers but also to SPM and STPM leavers so that they could get information as to the best options for them in terms of higher learning institutes and courses available.

Hezron said they had been working for two months preparing for the event and he expressed the organising committee's gratitude to Minister of International Trade and Industry cum Penampang Member of Parliament Datuk Darell Leiking for his guidance and encouragement to them.
