Zaini new Sabah Deputy Police Commission­er

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) yesterday announced the transfer of 27 of its officers, effective Nov 19.

They include Deputy Director of Management (Administra­tion), Management Department, Bukit Aman, SAC Datuk Zaini Jass who is appointed the Sabah Deputy Police Commission­er with the rank of Acting DCP.

Zaini's place will be replaced by Principal Assistant Director of Management (Service), Service/Personnel Division, Management Department ,Bukit Aman, SAC Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali.

The transfer was announced by PDRM Head of Corporate Communicat­ion, Secretaria­t of the Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Asmawati Ahmad, in a statement yesterday.

Apart from that, Commander of the 69 Commando, Special Force Team, Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) , Ulu Kinta, Perak SAC Datuk Fisol Salleh is appointed Deputy Director of KDNKA (Operations) Bukit Aman with the rank of acting DCP.

Fisol's palce will be replaced by thr Deputy Commander of the 69 Commando, Special Force Team, Internal Security and Public Order Department (KDNKA) Ulu Kinta, ACP Abdul Razak Mohd Yusof.

Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur Management department head SAC Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim will be transferre­d to Kelantan as State Deputy Police Chief while Azmi's place will be taken over by ACP Ismail Mat Sidik, who currently Kota Bharu district police chief. - Bernama
