Perak, T’ganu to share 30,750 M’sia Cup final tickets

SHAH ALAM: A total of 30,750 Malaysia Cup final tickets including 750 for children under 12 years old will be distribute­d equally between Perak and Terengganu FC for their supporters to watch the game at Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday.

Malaysia Football League chief operating officer, Mohd Shazil Shaik Mohd said the tickets would go on sale on Thursday in the two states.

He said 10,500 tickets including 500 for children would be sold online via www.tickethotl­ine.com. my on Wednesday from 9am.

Mohd Shazil said the ticket price has been fixed at RM50 for adults and RM5 for children under 12 years old.

“This year, we are collaborat­ing with sport goods manufactur­er, Al Ikhsan which will be one of the platforms to sell tickets or redeem tickets for supporters of both teams,” he told a media conference after attending a Malaysia Cup final organising committee meeting at Shah Alam Stadium here yesterday.

In this regard, Perak Football Associatio­n (Pafa) honourary secretary Abdul Aziz Yeop Jamaluddin said the governing body would be selling tickets on Friday at several places in the state namely Tanjung Malim, Parit Buntar, Kuala Kangsar, Manjong, Teluk Intan, Lenggong and Tapah from 10am to 2pm and at Perak Stadium Ipoh from 9am.

Meanwhile Terengganu Football Associatio­n (PBSNT) honourary secretary Syahrizan Mohd Zain said tickets would go on sale at 10am on Thursday at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala Terengganu and at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium in Kuala Nerus.

Perak advanced to the final after beating Sabah with a 7-2 aggregate while TFC defeated defending champions, Johor Darul Ta’zim 3-2 in aggregate score in the semifinals. - Bernama
