Carlist.my awarded at the Superbrand­s Malaysia 2018 Awards

KUALA LUMPUR: Carlist.my were among the 34 brands that were honoured during a luncheon award ceremony by Superbrand­s Malaysia held last week as Superbrand­s Malaysia celebrates its 10th anniversar­y.

Dub bed as the‘ Oscar of Branding’ by working profession­als, the esteemed Superbrand­s Council went through a rigorous selection of more than 1200 brands to designate this years’ Superbrand­s title to top companies in Malaysia.

“Receiving the Superbrand award status after 6 years in the market is a good indication that we are doing the right thing as an important player in the industry. We’re very pleased with the result we have gained so far, and will continue to do more in the years to come.” said Hamish Stone, chief executive officer of Carlist.my.

Carlist.my - Malaysia’s No.1 car site, has been pushing the limits of productivi­ty and producing value added features for dealers and consumers since its establishm­ent in 2012.

In the third quarter this year, Carlist.my has recorded a positive result in operation and cash flow. This is aided with a height an average audience of nearly four million, an increase of 85 per cent from the same quarter in 2017.

The platform has more than 130,000 listed vehicles deriving from the latest models, reconditio­ned vehicles as well as pre-owned cars from various categories and brands.

Stone later added “It is an enormous honor to receive the Superbrand­s award. We will continue to provide better value for car buyers and sellers along every step of the process through our platforms.”

Throughout 2018, the company has rolled out several new features such as Video Listing – for car dealers to increase visibility on their inventorie­s, iCar Data – for the car dealers and brands to have a better insight on the automotive market and also Carlistbid.my - for car owners, to sell their car faster and efficientl­y.
