-

KRISTA believes that early childhood is a very crucial stage of a child’s development and high quality care and a stimulating learning and nurturing environment are needed as the desired platform on which to secure strong, valuable foundations for these young ones.

Krista with 17 centres in Sarawak and one in Labuan, recently expanded its network by opening another 3 centres in Kota Kinabalu.

Krista also believes in making every effort to provide as many opportunities as possible for them in their early childhood years to develop holistically through well-planned programmes and meaningful extra-curricular activities that will add to the enrichment of that platform, and ultimately, their overall development and success.

Krista understands the uniqueness and the different needs of each and every child and provides him or her with the right conducive environment and experiences so that he or she may be moulded and nurtured to mature into balanced, resourceful, successful and wonderful individuals.

Krista’s CAPABLE Programme, an all-encompassing programme conducted in all its centres nationwide, focuses on individuality, the effective acquisition of knowledge, character building and the achieving of competency.

Krista books and teaching materials have been prepared and tailored according to the various learning and experience stages, optimising synergistic intelligences.

At Krista, children at the tender age of 3 are gently introduced to the path of learning and experience in a most fun and enjoyable way using its ‘Fun’ book series.

The 4-year olds are a curious lot and Krista provides the opportunity for them to discover the world around them through its ‘Discovering’ book series.

At the age of 5 where kids have more questions then one can answer, Krista leads them to explore the ‘why and how’ through the ‘Exploring’ book series before they progress more aggressively into the ‘Study’ book series at the age of 6.

This series prepares the children for a smooth transition to primary school education

The Krista CAPABLE Programme is supported by Krista’s day-to-day teachers’ guide, Krista workbooks, trained principals and teachers, fun and enjoyable extra-curricular activities and the use of themes and Montessori methods. Krista also has an attractive computer learning programme.

Krista strives to translate life’s lessons and values to the children through plenty of fun experiential learning activities in a safe and conducive environment where every child is given the opportunity to develop holistically and have memorable childhood experiences.

Krista values a close partnership with parents as the desirable development of the child in its totality is only possible with the support, understanding, commitment as well as the intimate involvement of parents.

Krista also believes in building up the child’s self esteem and self confidence, inculcating good values and discipline in the child, stimulating and sustaining the child’s interest in learning new things about the world around them while developing the child’s thinking, cognitive, language and literacy, social and other skills that are needed for continued school success and beyond.
