-

KOTA KINABALU: D'Club, the recreational club of NXG Global Sdn Bhd recently made a charity visit to Sri Pritchard Old Folks Home in Kinarut.

Nineteen staff joined in the charity visit, including NXG Global director Alvin Pang, and Group Chief Operating Officer of Nexgen Biopharma, Francis Chung, to provide support and assistance to the elderly folks.

“It feels great to make them smile again and how this charity event has made them feel like home,” said Francis.

NXG staff engaged with the residents and had singing and dancing sessions with them.

They re-painted garden benches, gazebos, and helped to clean the vicinity of the home. They also contributed two new cement benches and various gifts such as goody bags, snacks, laundry detergents, board games and adult diapers for the home. Workers at Sri Pritchard Old Folks Home were also given torchlights to help them check on the old folks at night.

“I am glad D'Club NXG has taken the initiative to organize this as a platform for their members to contribute towards the community. It's also heartwarming to see Sabah have such a place set up for the old folks.

The place is well managed and workers there are kind and welcoming. We can see the old folks there are well taken care of and happy. We look forward to see more of this kind of charity event organized by the D'club and NXG,” said Alvin Pang, the director of NXG Global.
