-

KOTA KINABALU: Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu officiated its Christmas celebration with the lighting of its 15-foot abstract Christmas tree at the lobby of the hotel yesterday.

The Christmas tree was also decked with creative Christmas Bottles, recycled bottles and materials from the hotel, made by the associates.

The General Manager of Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu, Rachael Harman led the ceremony which was attended by hotel guests and corporate clients.

Rachael also launched the Christmas Wish Project, one of the many CSR campaigns organised by the hotel.

This year the hotel collected 127 Christmas wishes from selected homes, including hostels for underprivileged students - Don Bosco and Woori Jib, and homes for special needs – Bukit Harapan and Care Haven.

“Christmas is a time of giving and sharing, and is not limited to those that we love and care for. We hope our generous guests will share the joy of giving with the residents of these homes,” she said.

Guests can select their Christmas Wish card from the Christmas tree at the hotel lobby, and return the wrapped gift to the hotel by 20 December 2018.

In conjunction with the festive season, Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu is also offering special food and beverages promotions, including Christmas Goodies, perfect as gifts for family and friends.

Guests can call the hotel’s Festive Desk at +6088 322 238 or check their Facebook or Instagram for updates.
