Hilton KK acknowledges tour and travel agents' efforts
KOTA KINABALU: Hilton Kota Kinabalu recently hosted an appreciation evening for tour and travel agents to acknowledge their efforts in promoting the tourism industry in Sabah and also for their support and commitment towards the hotel.
The evening saw four industry players being accorded the Million Dollar award for reaching the RM1 million threshold of room nights sold at the hotel, while Sabah Tourism Board received an award in acknowledgement for their constant support towards Hilton Kota Kinabalu and the tourism industry. The award was received by Sabah Tourism Board general manager, Suzaini Ghani.
The awards were given out by the hotel's general manager, Linda Pecoraro, and the recipients include tour operators and online travel agents. The Tour Operators were Classic Holidays Sdn Bhd; Hana Tours Service (M) Sdn Bhd; and World Mekka Tours, and Online Travel Agent, namely Ctrip International Travel Malaysia Sdn Bhd - the award accepted by its area manager, Low Chai Meng.
