KOTA KINABALU: December 1, 2018 marked another auspicious day for Permai Polyclinics Group. It was the group’s 21st anniversary which was celebrated with an anniversary dinner at the Marriott Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.

The doctors, nurses, Permai polyclinics staff and associates had a lot to be proud about. From a humble one shoplot clinic started by Datuk Dr James Jeremiah in 1997, at Jalan Pantai, it has now established 30 branches all over Sabah and has even expanded to West Malaysia.

Such a formidable growth can only be due to thorough patient care management followed by the tireless cooperation among so many doctors, nurses and management staff.

The anniversary event started with a welcome note from the Permai Polyclinics Group president, Puan Normah Datuk Hj. Osman, who in her speech acknowledged the advances made by the Group throughout the 21 years of operation.

The evening began with cocktails, speeches, dinner and culminated with an exciting entertainment performances by its staff, a local cultural dance group, the Kumpulan Budayawan and The Crazy Boys staged against the stunning backdrop of Gaya Island.

One spectacular noteworthy achievement this year was of Dr Rizin bin Kusop of Permai Polyclinics Group receiving an award in recognition for his overwhelming dedication in medical and social contribution to the local communities of Sabah. Dr Rizin is the first Sabahan doctor to receive this coveted Annual National Community Service Award. The event was truly a moment for all in Sabah to share in the joy.

Dr James Jeremiah, director and founder of Permai Polyclinics Sdn Bhd, reckoned the year 2019 would look more promising.

He announced of the greater benefit to all from the implementation of online realtime electronic connectivity within the whole group to ensure better service to a highly mobile client-base in this modern era.

He said while 2018 was a fantastic year, he reckon 2019 will be an even better year for Permai Polyclinics Group, doctors, nurses, staff and all associates.
