Google makes fans think Wolverine to appear in ‘Avengers’
LOS ANGELES: A probable Google glitch has got a large number of fans thinking that Wolverine is to appear in ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
For some inexplicable reason, Google has been listing Hugh Jackman as a cast member of the highly-awaited Infinity War sequel.
When searching for “famous Hugh Jackman movies,” Avengers: Endgame appears alongside his other films such as The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables and all his Wolverine features. Since Marvel has yet to seal a deal with Fox, it is more than unlikely that Wolverine will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe anytime soon.
For the record, Jackman had retired from the X-Man role in 2017.
He had stated on a number of occasions that he is done with portraying Wolverine.
In a previous online rant, Jackman wrote on Instagram that the third stand-alone Wolverine movie would likely be his last time playing the X-Men mutant.
Jackman got a little carried away with his announcement back then.
With three claws extended, he had written: “WOLVERINE ...ONE LAST TIME.”
Jackman first began playing Wolverine in 2000’s X-Men. He’s since played the role seven times, including in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Wolverine.
Although there has been no official announcement that Jackman’s Wolverine character will show up in Avengers: Endgame, fans have been creating amazing buzz online over that possibility.
