Thirteen beauties vie for Miss Grand Miri 2019 crown
MIRI: Thirteen finalists will vie for the Miss Grand Miri 2019 crown during the grand finale at Meritz Hotel here, set for this Feb 5.
The preliminary rounds will commence with a photo-shoot session of all contestants in their casual wear on Jan 12, followed by a bikini photo-shoot on Jan 29, the ‘Miss Cultural’ night on Feb 1 and ‘Miss Talent’ night on Feb 2. The last two events will take place at Bintang Megamall here.
For the grand finale, all contestants will undergo three round of judging – first will be the selection of the top 10 finalists, then down to the top six before the announcement of the top three contestants.
Miss Grand Miri 2018 Vanessa Gilbert will crown the next winner that night.
This year’s queen and the firstrunner up finalist will represent this division at Miss Grand Sarawak 2019, to be hosted in Sibu this March 30. In turn, the state-level winner will represent Sarawak at Miss Grand Malaysia 2019, set to take place in early May this year.
Miss Grand Miri 2019 is organised by Brenda and Brandan’s Art Paradise and Paris Saloon 5, with sponsors including Borneo Medispa Merdeka Suite, Meritz Hotel Miri, High End Designer by Arzmy, Carl Zafran, Philip Reynold, Christ Abel, Ray Aiman and SL Beauty Paris Saloon.
