North Borneo University College celebrates soft launching
KOTA KINABALU: North Borneo University College (NUBC) celebrated the soft launch of its campus at Wisma Angkatan Hebat, 1Borneo on Sunday.
The inauguration marked the commencement of NBUC towards becoming a university for the future of works welcoming both local and international students.
Professor Dr Mohaizi Mohamad, the President of Geomatika Group and North Borneo University College has been developing this local based academy since 2006 (previously known as Twintech College) in hope that it will become a reputable international institution for higher education renowned in imparting knowledge and value creation.
“At this institution, graduates are not only equipped with academic and technical qualifications but possess a wide range of skills, master the information and communication technology efficiently as well as possessing management skills and entrepreneurial spirit so that they reach maturity and prepare for the technological changes that occur rapidly and has the power to face the current world reality,” he said.
Specializing in Earth & Sciences, and Enforcement courses, NBUC is the first private institution to offer up to doctoral level and firmly aims to pave industrial pathways between commerce, research organization and its all-rounder prospects. Its growing number of graduates and their successful employment record prove NBUC genuineness in the education sector.
