Pizza Hut celebrates festivity with new limited-edition pizza
KOTA KINABALU: Pizza Hut Malaysia, Malaysia's No.1 pizza chain, ushering the 2019 Chinese New Year with the launch of its new Krabby Cheese pizza in Sabah here yesterday.
Pizza Hut East Malaysia Operation general manager Nagoor Shah said the establishment aims to encourage Malaysians to bond with family and friends over a shared pizza meal this coming festivity.
Entailing the elements of Chinese New Year, the new limited-edition Krabby Cheese pizza offers a mouth-watering feast with six juicy crab claws, cheese pickets that are complete with oozing melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese, generously stuffed with chicken slices topped with roasted red and green capsicums, red onions and delicious pineapple bits.
"Pizza Hut holds a passion to continuously produce authentic pizzas, bringing families and friends together to bond and allowing Malaysians to feel fulfilled with inspiration and excitement each time Pizza Hut comes to mind," said Nagoor at the launching ceremony at Pizza Hut ApiApi branch here yesterday.
"Holding strong to that, Pizza Hut introduced the Krabby Cheese as soon as the year begun in conjunction with Chinese New Year. The new limited-edition pizza acts as a catalyst of celebration and festive participation, calling all friends and loved ones to actively participate in the festivity with celebratory ingredients.
"In Malaysia, festivities are seen to have monotonous activities, but Pizza Hut wants to heighten the experience by remixing traditions altogether. Living within a diverse community with various cultural activities, Pizza Hut urges all Malaysians to embrace diversity and be inclusive of everyone by participating in cross cultural festivities, not just for Chinese New Year but all festivities," he added.
In addition to that, Pizza Hut came up with its 'Ramai-ramai tong-tong sama-sama' video which displays Malaysians from contrast age groups approaching Chinese New Year different, encircling life's diversity altogether.
"This is to show festivities are so much fun when everyone actively takes part and steps into a world outside their own by mixing traditional and modern values together," said Nagoor.
Pizza Hut Malaysia Operations manager Fadly Ismael Nota Ola and Pizza Hut Marketing assistant marketing manager Lea Johnny were in attendance during the launching ceremony.
The new Krabby Cheese pizza is now available at all Pizza Hut dine-in, delivery and takeaway restaurants nationwide from January 1 to February 2019.
