Ministry launches its official website

-

KOTA KINABALU: Information on the Health and People’s Wellbeing Ministry is now at the fingertips of the people with the launch of its official website here yesterday.

Its minister, Datuk Stephen Wong Tien Fatt, said the ministry would stress on ensuring that the website meets the needs of users by providing the latest information and archives for references.

“The accuracy and validity of information needs to be preserved. In addition, we need a non-rigid and less bureaucratic web site to get the information they want,” said Wong during the ministry’s website launch and 2019 Chinese New Year celebration at ShangriLa’s Tanjung Aru Resort and Spa here yesterday.

“In other words, we want the information needed through the fingertips, achieved as fast as possible. The present scenario also clearly shows that people prefer to make quick and accurate complaints and feedback.

“Therefore, the Ministry’s website committee should always be ready to step forward to provide the best value added from time to time to ensure that people can use the site easily, transparently and accurately,” he reminded.

Assistant Minister Norazlinah Arif, permanent secretary Datuk Janet KL Chee and political secretary Phoong Jin Zhe were amongst those at the inaugural event.
