Prashant Chadha joins Mercer as CEO Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Mercer, a global consultant in advancing health, wealth and careers and a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, announced the appointment of Mr Prashant Chadha to the position of chief executive officer of Mercer Malaysia.

In the role, Chadha’s responsibilities will include driving continued profitable growth and overseeing the expansion of Mercer’s businesses in Malaysia.

Chadha will also lead local initiatives which will continue to build Mercer’ s brand and reputation as a leader and trusted advisor in Health, Wealth and Career.

“Prashant’s appointment comes at an important time in the ongoing growth and investment in this diverse, opportunity-rich region,” said Renee McGowan, Mercer chief executive officer for Asia, in a statement.

Chadha joins Mercer from Aon where he led the firm’s Malaysia, Brunei and Philippines Consulting business and was also the Chief Commercial Officer for South East Asia operations.

He will be based in Mercer’s Malaysia office and will become a member of the Asia Zone Leadership team, reporting to Renee McGowan.
