Zhang Tian’ai tears up at fan’s injury
BEIJING: Mainland Chinese actress Crystal Zhang aka Zhang Tian’ai is known to be always friendly and caring towards her fans. Every time she meets fans at the airport, she would passionately talk with them as if they are her friends and would wait for them to finish talking before leaving.
Recently, Crystal’s caring attitude was captured as she cried over a fan’s injury. The fan was among many excited fans who were at the airport to welcome Crystal on a return trip to Beijing. As fans jostled to take photos, one of them tripped over and injured her nose.
Seeing the mishap, the 28year-old actress immediately rushed to help the fan. The fall had shattered her glasses and wounded her nose, which was bleeding profusely. Crystal got worried and asked around for tissues. She personally held the tissue down on the wound and eventually teared up at the sight of her fan being hurt. Despite getting blood all over her hands, she did not mind and said, “It’s okay, let me do it.”
The fan initially wanted to be just treated at the airport medical centre, but Crystal insisted taking her to the hospital. They visited two hospitals but couldn’t be attended to immediately, until the third hospital where the wound was finally treated.
Crystal accompanied the fan throughout the three hours of thorough examination. It was late night when they finished, so Crystal offered to take three fans that live far away, back home.
Meanwhile, netizens who saw Crystal’s anxiety and tears praised the actress, “Beautiful and kind”, “Her action looks really urgent,” and “She really sees fans as family.”
