Legoland M’sia Resort offers exclusive deals for MATTA Fair 2019

KUALA LUMPUR: Legoland Malaysia Resort is offering Malaysian Associatio­n of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair 2019 attendees’ an exclusive deal for its theme park and hotel.

Legoland Sales and Marketing Director Thila Munusamy said customers who purchase a oneday ticket will be upgraded to an annual pass which will give them an unlimited access to the theme park and water park as well as free entrance to SEA LIFE Malaysia when it opens this April.

“Visitors who purchase the Legoland Hotel Family Experience will enjoy a discount of up to 35 per cent for this package and we are happy to partner with MATTA for the seventh year in a row with exclusive discounts that will only be available to MATTA Fair visitors. With end-to-end offering from the hotel to the theme parks and soon, our interactiv­e aquarium, our resort is truly a unique family destinatio­n in this region,” she said at the press conference here, yesterday.

MATTA Fair 2019 will return to the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) on March 15-17 and is expecting to attract 100,000 visitors.

Meanwhile, MATTA’s Vice President Inbound and Domestic Jimmy Thoo said Desaru Coast Malaysia will also be offering an exclusive 25 per cent discount for waterparks on their Johor Splash Pass exclusivel­y for Johoreans or Johor Residents.

“Johor residents are required to show proof of identify on local residency,” he said.

Jimmy said according to Tourism Malaysia, 28.7 per cent out of 19.39 million tourists visited theme parks throughout Malaysia in the period of January-September 2018, and Johor was number two in the top tourism destinatio­ns in Malaysia.

“MATTA trusts such collaborat­ion will further boost tourist arrivals, both local and foreign visitors and benefit Theme Parks operators in Malaysia. Through the fair, MATTA continues to provide business opportunit­ies for its members and meet the demand of the consumers,” he said.

MATTA Fair March 2019 is open from 10am to 9pm. Admission is RM4 per person and free for children aged below 12. - Bernama
