The victim in her report claimed that she went out with one of the suspects known as Arif who is also her boyfriend from Lahad Datu on February 23.

After watching a movie and wandering around, the suspect sent the victim to sleep at his friend's (a girl) house as she was afraid to go home, fearing that her mother would scold her.

He said when they arrived at a house, the suspect told her that it was his rented house and later requested her to have sex with him.

When the victim refused but the suspect beat her with a helmet and stepped on her ribs before ripping off her clothes and raping her.

“After that, the suspect's friend, known as Atang, came and raped the victim. The victim had tried to scream but the suspect covered her mouth with his hand,” he said.

After the incident, the suspect threatened the victim to keep the incident secret otherwise they would kill her.

The next day, the suspect took her to his sister's house and the sister took the victim to Kota Kinabalu in a Proton Saga car.

Upon arrival, the victim told her mother about the incident and lodged a report at the Tuaran police station.
