UKEAS Malaysia EduFair March 9

KOTA KINABALU: Making its debut this Saturday, the inaugural UKEAS Malaysia EduFair 2019 will be held on March 9 from 2pm to 7pm at the Pacific Sutera Hotel, Sutera Harbour.

The exhibition will feature 20 institutions from the UK, the USA, Switzerland, and pathway programmes with direct progression to top universities in Australia and Europe, along with interactive workshops from participating institutions happening concurrently in a separate room.

Among the list of schools are high-ranking universities that have never before been to Kota Kinabalu, including the famed Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches Global Hospitality Education from Switzerland, which sit in the top five list of the world’s best hospitality and management schools.

Other first-timers include City, University of London, University of Bristol, University of Kent and University of Southampton.

The event’s unique exhibition/workshop format is unlike any education fairs of its kind done in Sabah, with topics ranging from career talks to academic seminars in various field of studies presented by academics and university representatives from the UK and the USA.

The featured workshops are intended to give attendees a more immersive and experiential form of learning about the universities from representatives through fruitful discussions. The workshops are free and open to all members of the public.

UKEAS Malaysia will also be organizing another EduFair later this year on October 5.
