Cardi B admits as a stripper, she drugged, robbed men

LOS ANGELES: Singer Cardi B has admitted that during her stripper days, she used to drug and rob men.

Said Cardi: “I did what I had to do to survive.”

Just hours after an old Instagram Live video resurfaced of her ranting about how she would trick men into coming back to hotels with her and steal from them, the 26-year-old rapper posted a message to Instagram to explain she did it to survive.

She wrote: ‘So I’m seeing on social media that a live I did 3 years ago has popped back up. A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to go to make a living. I never claim to be perfect or come from a perfect world wit a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my (expletive).”

The ‘Please Me’ hitmaker explained that like a lot of other hip hop artistes she did things in her past that she’s not proud of.

Added Cardi: “I never glorified the things I brought up in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibi­lity not to glorify it. I made the choices that I did at the time because I had very limited options.”

The alarming Instagram video shows Cardi recalling a time when she would drug and rob men during her years working at gentlemen’s clubs.

In the video, after bragging about drugging and robbing men, Cardi ranted: “That’s what I used to do.”
