SANDAKAN: LG Electronics Malaysia, global innovator in technology and manufacturing, yesterday launched its first brand shop in Sandakan as part of the company’s plans to further expand its footprint in Sabah and East Malaysia.
Together with its partner, Bright Scott Electrical Sdn Bhd, the brand shop aims to bring immersive and amplified retail experience for the communities in Sandakan, in line with the theme: ‘Creating a better life’. This is LG’s second brand shop in Sabah and the third in East Malaysia.
LG’s brand shop features a variety of home entertainment and home appliance products from its awardwinning OLED TVs, UHD, HD and LED TVs, InstaView refrigerator, TWINWash washing machine and DUALCOOL air conditioner. The event was officiated by Kim Kyutae, managing director for LG Electronics Malaysia.

Aligned with the growing call for living spaces that offers more convenience and technology integration, LG is redefining its consumer electronics products as a service that provides optimal solutions with real, tangible benefits for everyday life. Its award-winning OLED TV provides viewers superior entertainment value within the comfort of their homes through its AI function and processor, while its home appliances like the TWINWash washing machine allows washing two loads at one time, making laundry chores easier and saves time.
Liew Ket Sheng, managing director at Bright Scott Electrical said: “Digitally-savvy customers today are empowered with bountiful information from the net where they can learn in great depth about the products they are buying. That said, a crucial component in their purchasing journey lies in their ability to interact and experience the product. This is where LG’s brand shop comes in the picture, as it serves to enhance the overall customer experience. We would like to extend our appreciation to LG and its team in Malaysia for this incredible business opportunity.”
