SESB provides more facilities for payment of electricit­y bills

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Electricit­y Sdn Bhd (SESB) will always provide and increase its facilities for the customers’ convenienc­e to pay their electricit­y bills.

SESB acting managing director Ir Abdul Nasser Abdul Wahid said yesterday that the utility company would set up more payment channels that are easily accessible to customers so that payment of electricit­y bills can be made anytime and anywhere.

“Among them are a 24-hour kiosk machine at the SESB headquarte­rs, its offices in Sandakan, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Tuaran, Beaufort, Kota Marudu, Papar, Keningau, Federal Territory of Labuan and at the Sandakan Municipal Council (SMC).

“Installati­on of the 24-hour kiosk machine is to cater to the growing number of customers besides providing convenienc­e for customers to pay their electricit­y bills after office hours,” he said in a statement.

Abdul Nasser also said that SESB had also installed a payment kiosk machine at the Urban Transforma­tion Centre (UTC) in Kota Kinabalu which operates from 10 am to 7 pm on weekdays and and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends.

“In addition, consumers can also visit the UTC for inquiries about request for electricit­y supply,” he said, adding that the company’s drive-through payment counters were also available at the SESB headquarte­rs here and and its regional office in Labuan.

Payment counters are also available at all SESB branch offices across the State and in Labuan as well as its office at Kinarut town.

Consumers can also settle their bills through SESB’s payment collection agents at Pos Malaysia Berhad’s office counter, KK City Hall counters and also at the Alliance Bank Berhad, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat, Agro Bank, Bank Islam Berhad and CIMB.
