Huawei P30, P30 Pro: Taking smartphone photography to the next level
HUAWEI’S latest P30 series, the P30 and P30 Pro, is taking smartphone photography to the next step with its first-of-itskind super camera system coengineered with Leica.

On the P30, the phone features a Leica Triple Camera System which accommodates the user’s photography. This super camera system is equipped with a 40MP Super Sensing Camera, a 16MP Ultra Wide Angle Lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
OntheP30Pro,thephonefeatures a Leica Quad Camera System which includes a SuperZoom Lens, a 40MP Super Sensing Camera, a 20MP Ultra Wide Angle Lens, and a HUAWEI TOF Camera.
Colour sensing has also been enhanced by the RGGB to RYYB system which adds for more light in all images. Huawei’s SuperSpectrumsensorcontributes 40 per cent increased light, ISP of Kirin 980 and the self-developed algorithm.
On the P30 Pro, its rear camera features the latest periscope photography lens which allows users more optical zooming capabilities. Together with the colour saturation provided by the 40MP main camera, and stability of OIS, P30 Pro’s SuperZoom lens offers 10-times hybrid zoom, the first ever smartphone in the market to have this enhanced capability.
Huawei P30’s 32MP front camera is also supported by an AI system for better accuracy in brightness and sharpness while on the P30 Pro, while the P30 Pro features an AI HDR+ feature that analyses every shot to ensure the best combination of colours and light.
For the P30 Pro, its two rear cameras could work at the same time via its HUAWEI Dual-View Video, allowing users to determine which features suits their taste.
Both Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are water and dust resistant.
The latest line-ups are also powered by the latest Kirin 980 7nm mobile process chipset, with stronger performance and lower power consumption.
Instead of a traditional top-front speaker, the Huawei P30 series feature Huawei’s Acoustic Display Technology to provide a larger display and increased hearing area. The latest Huawei P30 series are now available in Malaysia and offered with attractive packages by major telecommunications stores nationwide.
