MITM Sabah International travel fair July 5-7
KOTA KINABALU: The fourth Malaysia International Travel Mart (MITM) Sabah International Travel Fair will be held at Karamunsing Exhibition Hall from July 5 to 7, 10am to 10pm.
Organized by the Malaysia Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA) Sabah Chapter, the three-day event offers a wide selection of tour packages to various destinations up till Christmas this year and even Chinese New Year season next year.
Its chairman, Lawrence Wong, said more than 60 domestic and international travel agencies would take part in the travel fair.
“Tourism players from China, Korea and Taiwan will be bringing their products to the fair.
“We have had foreign tourism offices expressing keen interest to join the event as well,” he said in a press conference yesterday.
Lawrence said the public would find direct flights to China and travel packages to Asian and European countries at the travel fair.
On another note, he said 10 travel agencies under MCTA Sabah Chapter would be taking part in the Macau International Travel Expo from April 25 to 29 to promote inbound tourism to Sabah.
Meanwhile, organizing chairperson Amity Wong said visitors to the MITM Sabah International Travel Fair would stand a chance to win attractive lucky draw prizes and participate in fun games activities.
