Sedania Innovator appoints Nisa Ismail as CEO for Sedania As Salam Capital

KUALA LUMPUR: Sedania Innovator Bhd (Sedania) recently announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sedania As Salam Capital (Sedania As Salam), a company focusing on Fintech vertical business of the group, appointed Nisa Ismail as the new chief executive officer (CEO) by its board of directors.

Prior to joining Sedania As Salam, she was the Country Marketing head and Partnerships (Malaysia & Singapore) for BBazaar Online Marketing Services, which is a part of BankBazaar International.

An avid marketer and strong customer engagement advocator, she has worked in aviation, telecommunications, banking, market research and e-commerce in Malaysia and regionally.

“We are excited of the future prospects of having someone with vast experience to lead Sedania As Salam,” Sedania Datuk managing director Azrin Mohd Noor said.

“Khairul Nisa is an awardwinning Marketer with 22 years of experience in new business and marketing development, expansion and implementation.

“I believe, with her experience, Sedania As Salam will be able to push forward to become the premier Islamic Fintech company not only in Malaysia but also regionally and internationally.”

Meanwhile, Nisa said that it is an honour and privilege to take a leadership role with Sedania As Salam especially at the stage that Fintech is taking off in Malaysia and the region as complementary to the financial institution sector as well as convenience for the customers.

“Consumer behaviour is changing rapidly and it is about being in the state of consumercentric that Sedania As Salam will make the difference towards better customer experience through its' superior products.

“And that will be the first order of Sedania As Salam business together with the team,” Nisa added.
