Damn Good Burger opens Damai outlet, Imago next

-

KOTA KINABALU: Damn Good Burger celebrated the opening of its fourth outlet in Damai yesterday.

Founder Mohd Ashmawi Asraf bin Mohammed Irwan Lie said the fifth outlet would be open at Imago Mall later this year.

“We also plan to expand to West Malaysia and perhaps to the Asian region.”

Damn Good Burger was founded as a hawker stall at Bandar Sierra on August 2016. The stall quickly gained popularity, selling more than 300 burgers a day.

Mohd Ashmawi then started to offer delivery service but soon the stall could not cope with the high demand, which led to the decision to set up an outlet instead.

“Damn Good Burger has received good response from customers since day one because we serve 100 per cent imported pure meat and fresh ingredients.”

The recipes for the burgers were developed by Mohd Ashmawi himself, having studied culinary arts and taking inspiration from a successful burger stall during his stay in Melbourne, Australia.

“What’s special about Damn Good Burger is that we serve with passion.

“Our products are imported and homemade.

“We even have our own signature dipping sauce.”

Mohd Ashmawi also thanked his customers for their continuous support in supporting a local brand.

Damn Good Burger is offering 10 per cent discount of its menu items yesterday and today (April 29) in conjunction with the grand opening.

Present to officiate at the opening was Winson Chong, Special Officer of Media Affairs and Research, who represented Luyang Assemblyman Phoong Jin Zhe.
