Contact Safa KK for qualified referees, advice
KOTA KINABALU: Organisers of football and futsal tournaments or even friendly match around the City are advised to contact Sabah FA (Safa) Kota Kinabalu City (Safa KK) in order to engage qualified referees.
Safa KK Football Referee Committee chairman Haji Majid Madarin said it was the right procedure to contact the Safa district for the purpose.
“It is very important to go through the right channel so that the association can record and assign qualified referees,” Majid said this in a statement to the press yesterday after he returned unopposed as the chairman of the referee committee during its recent election for 2019-2020 term.
Safa KK Secretary I, Dayang Juraidah Abd Rahim, officiated at the election representing the president Alijus Sipil.
The Safa KK Referee Committee also comprise Madlin Surat as deputy chairman, Jaini Ayong (vice chairman), Muhimian Moksin (secretary), Abdul ziz Abdullah (assistant secretary), Hansud Maya @ Limat (treasurer), Abdul Hakim Sadak, Saimon Sarman, Mercelinus Petrus dan Suriadi Sarman @ Bagyo.
Majid said a female quota to sit in the commitee would be appointed very soon.
Meanwhile, apart from the election of new office bearers, Juraidah also presented the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) Class III Certificate to qualified referees.
