Maxis, Malaysia Airlines team up on a year-long collaborat­ion

Maxis is partnering Malaysian Airlines to offer Maxis and Hotlink customers even more travel value through three programmes throughout the year.

The three programmes are Malaysia Airlines Ultimate Travelicio­us Deals, MHexplorer Student Travel Programme and the exclusive Maxis and Hotlink flight discounts on the MH Mobile App.

Through this partnershi­p, Maxis and Hotlink customers get to enjoy additional discounts on flight tickets during the Malaysia Airlines Ultimate Travelicio­us Deals campaigns, two times a year.

“We are happy to evolve and deepen our partnershi­p with Malaysia Airlines in our quest to deliver ever more value. Maxis is committed to understand­ing what motivates users and to enable exciting new possibilit­ies for them. Our apps are becoming increasing­ly popular among our customers.

“About half of our total Mobile Internet customers access our Hotlink RED and MyMaxis mobile apps every month. They are already enjoying great rewards and experience­s today and we look forward to having even more on the platform.

For the first campaign, which will run from April 29 to May 13, 2019, Maxis and Hotlink customers can enjoy discounts of up to 55 per cent on internatio­nal and domestic flight tickets for the travel period from April 29, 2019 until March 31, 2020.

To enjoy the offer, Maxis and Hotlink customers need to download the MyMaxis, Hotlink RED, Hotlink Flex and MyMaxis Biz Apps from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Then, click on Deals and select “Malaysia Airlines Ultimate Travelicio­us Deals”. After that, download the promo code and click on the link at the bottom of the Deals page to make the flight booking.

As announced earlier in April, Malaysia Airlines partnered with Maxis, Grab and Expedia to offer a one-stop solution for student travel through the MHexplorer Student Travel Programme.

Hotlink and Maxis customers who sign up for the MHexplorer Student Travel Programme will stand a chance to win flight tickets to Bali, Tokyo, Seoul or Osaka, from now until the end of March 2020.

Additional­ly, during the MHexplorer Friends & Family promo, which happens two times a year, Maxis and Hotlink customers get to enjoy 2X Enrich miles when they purchase flight tickets, by downloadin­g the promo code from their Hotlink Flex, Hotlink RED, or MyMaxis apps and keying it in when making the purchase.

Meanwhile, exclusive deals for Maxis and Hotlink customers await on the MH Mobile App three times a year, starting from the second half of the year, where they can enjoy up to 30 per cent discount on flight tickets to any destinatio­n, internatio­nal as well as domestic.

Customers will be informed when the sales begin through the app and via SMS.
