Rumah Pangsa Tg Aru residents thank State Government

Residents of Rumah Pangsa Tanjung

Aru near here are thankful and grateful to the State Government for rendering assistance to ease their burden during the Movement Control

Order (MCO) which entered its 12th day on Sunday.

Chong Chui Phin said the food aid brought much joy and relief to the families of Rumah Pangsa especially for those who needed it in times of uncertaint­y and the MCO that had affected the people’s livelihood.

“A special note of thanks to YB Datuk Junz Wong the Tanjung Aru assemblyma­n and Agricultur­e and

Food Minister for distributi­ng essential food packs consisting of rice, eggs, flour, sugar, salt, cooking oil and Maggie etc to all of the 300 over families of Rumah Pangsa, Tanjung Aru as part of the ongoing Covid19 relief aid for all families of Tanjung Aru constituen­cy.

“I understand 4,000 over food packs have been distribute­d around Tanjung Aru and are still ongoing in stages. In line with this, I would also like to give my special thanks and that of all my friends and families of Rumah

Pangsa for the six months rental exemption which was announced by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal as being part of the Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Covid-19 Assistance Package.

“This, in addition to the water bill exemption for three months and 30 per cent discount for electricit­y bill, will really help to ease our burden. A big thank you and appreciati­on to our Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal and YB Junz Wong for caring, together we shall overcome!” said Chong.
