Samsung unveils Galaxy S21 Ultra

KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has unveiled its latest smartphone, Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is equipped with the most advanced pro-grade camera system.

President and head of Mobile Communications Business, TM Roh said the Galaxy S21 Ultra is the latest chapter in the Galaxy S series’ decade-long legacy of delivering cu ing-edge mobile experiences; built for users who demand top-of-the-line technology to stay connected with people and things that ma er the most.

“Galaxy S21 Ultra is another example of how Samsung is driving meaningful innovation forward to give people personalised experiences that enrich their lives and empower them to express who they are.

“Given how indispensable technology has been to our lives during these times, we wanted to take another leap forward and push the boundaries of what a smartphone can do,” he said in a statement yesterday.

On design, Roh said Galaxy S21 Ultra is the largest member of the Galaxy S21 series with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, featuring the iconic Contour Cut Camera housing that seamlessly blends into the device’s metal frame for a sleek, yet striking, aesthetic.

Compared with the Galaxy S20, he said S21 Ultra offers a 25 per cent brighter picture and delivers crystal-clear, immersive images.

Roh said Galaxy S21 Ultra has a quad rear camera (ultra-wide, wide and dual tele-lenses) that features an upgraded 108MP pro sensor with 100 times space zoom without sacrificing clarity. - Bernama
