Deputy Samut Sakhon governor, Theerapat Katchamat said the communicable disease committee need to discuss more on the disease control measures with entrepreneurs and traders there to prepare for the reopening.
The measures to prevent the spread of the disease will be strictly implemented after the reopening.
The customers have to make an appointment to receive their purchases to reduce crowd at the market. Payment will be made by QR code. However, it remains unclear whether the market will be allowed to reopen within this month.
The authorities will consider readiness of the people, the market system and the management of migrant dormitories to ensure good hygiene before they can decide when to reopen the market.
