In abiding to the standard operation procedure (SOP), all athletes or teams must apply from the Sabah State Sports Council (MSNS) for approval before starting training as the main condition.
All team managers must state, in writing, the responsibilities and guarantees on SOP compliance, while the association is advised to set up a monitoring team to advise on SOP compliance.
Ellron added that authorities have the right to conduct sport check and take action in towards organisations that failed to comply with the SOP.
He said those involved must undergo the RTK Antigen Test three days before entering the training program except from Recovery MCO area.
Organisers must also provide specific accommodations for their athletes and away from the public, while participants are not allowed to interact with individuals from outside including their family members throughout the quarantined centralized training.
“Ensure hand sanitizer liquids are placed at areas that are frequently used by participants such as surau, buses, seats, benches and so on.
“Training schedules must also be set up to limit the number of participants, while emergency handling procedures should be provided,” he said.
Ellron said among the SOP compliance are the use of either the MySejahtera or SabahTrace registration apps, body temperature readings, wearing face masks, hand sanitizer liquids and social distancing.
