SME Sabah to host CNY luncheon

KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Small and Medium Enterprise­s Associatio­n (SME Sabah) will be hosting a Chinese New Year 2024 Chap Goh Mei (CGM) luncheon on the 15th day of the first lunar month on February 24 at Kota Kinabalu Hakka Associatio­n Hall.

Since its establishm­ent, the Small and Medium Enterprise Associatio­n of Sabah (SME Sabah) has been playing an active role in facilitati­ng communicat­ion and coordinati­on between the government and the business community, disseminat­ing government policies and programmes with regards to economic and trade informatio­n, and assisting in the establishm­ent, developmen­t and growth of small and medium enterprise­s.

This luncheon is a cross border networking event for the Sabah business community.

Seri Panglima Dr Joachim Gunsalam, as the guest of honour for the luncheon celebratio­n, and Minister of Industrial Developmen­t and Entreprene­urship, Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe, as the special guest.

“Attendees will also be treated to performanc­es, including lion dance, dragon dance, Chinese New Year songs in unity languages, and lucky draw cash prizes. We will be presenting donations to a few organisiat­ions,” SME Sabah president Datuk NK Foo said in a statement.

Organizing chairman Roderick Goh said that for the luncheon, each table is priced at RM2,000, and individual meal tickets at RM200. Members and friends from the business community are welcomed to participat­e enthusiast­ically to celebrate the Spring Festival as well as to enhance their networking.
