Universal Motor celebrates CNY with customers

KOTA KINABALU: Universal Motor Sdn Bhd has been awarded the No.1 Isuzu distributo­r in Malaysia for the past 10 years.

Its Head of Sales, Clinton Chok, said the Isuzu D-Max has been their second best seller in Sabah while the Isuzu lorry is number one, and he thanked the Isuzu family in Sabah for this achievemen­t.

“Universal Motor not only sells cars but we are also very responsibl­e 3S dealers and are ready to serve your car no matter who you are.

“We have service centres all over Sabah, and we also provide 24-hour breakdown service assistance with vehicle doctors on standby.

“We have a variety of Isuzu D-Max that are suitable for your choice, whether for your career or lifestyle. D-Max 1.9 and 3.0 are proven to overcome every obstacle, and surely it is to be the greatest pickup truck for you.

“Thank you for the continuous support from all of you in making Universal Motor number one in Malaysia. We are very proud of this success,” he said during the Universal Motor Sdn Bhd Customer Appreciati­on and Chinese New Year (CNY) celebratio­n ceremony at Hakka Hall here on Saturday.

He said the event was held to appreciate their customers’ support, in which dinner, drinks and various entertainm­ent such as lucky draws were held.

Meanwhile, Universal Motor Sdn Bhd managing director Chok Yun Kiong said the appreciati­on dinner was the first they had held since four years ago due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said there were around 900 people in attendance at the event, and they plan to hold a bigger one next year with over 1,000 attendees.

“The appreciati­on ceremony was also held in conjunctio­n with the CNY celebratio­n because we want to bring all our customers of different race and religion to celebrate the festivity together as this is Sabah’s way of celebratin­g CNY,” he said.
