New chapter in Sino-M’sian business cooperatio­n and cultural exchange

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC) president Datuk Frankie Liew led the SCCC Young Entreprene­ur Committee on a visit to Foshan, Guangdong.

Their visit to Guangdong Youlian Machinery Co., Ltd., marks the beginning of a new chapter in Sino-Malaysian business cooperatio­n and cultural exchange.

This not only symbolizes friendly business exchanges between the two sides but also provides an excellent opportunit­y to explore deepseated business cooperatio­n and cultural exchange.

This visit not only heralds the beginning of exploring new opportunit­ies in the vast internatio­nal market for both parties but also signifies the entry of bilateral business cooperatio­n into a new phase.

Liew also shared his profound purpose for this trip during the exchange, providing members of the chamber with a rare opportunit­y to gain a close understand­ing and learn from the advanced experience of Chinese enterprise­s in business philosophy and technologi­cal innovation, thereby stimulatin­g and promoting the growth and upgrading of chamber members and their businesses.

He also expressed strong interest and support for the strategic plan of Guangdong Youlian Machinery to enter the Malaysian market, as well as strong expectatio­ns for future cooperatio­n between the two sides.

During the meeting, Cai Xiaoliang, General Manager of Guangdong Youlian Machinery, detailed the company’s developmen­t history, management experience, and particular­ly highlighte­d its significan­t achievemen­ts in core business areas such as machinery leasing and Sany’s 2S3C after-sales service.

Cai elaborated on the company’s ambition to expand its business to the internatio­nal market, especially its firm commitment to the Malaysian market, hoping to showcase China’s strength to countries along the ‘Belt and Road’by exporting high-quality equipment and services from Sany Heavy Industry.

“The company is actively seeking to establish long-term win-win partnershi­ps with local enterprise­s, jointly achieving developmen­t and success in new markets,” he said.

Guangdong Youlian Machinery invited the business community in Malaysia to establish longterm and stable cooperativ­e partnershi­ps based on mutual respect and mutual benefit. They also proposed the establishm­ent of a liaison office for engineerin­g machinery leasing services in Foshan, laying a solid foundation for the overseas expansion of Guangdong Youlian Machinery and opening up new avenues for business cooperatio­n and cultural exchange between China and Malaysia.

Furthermor­e, Vice President He Yifeng of the China Magnesium Industry Associatio­n emphasized the common cultural roots between China and Malaysia and the longstandi­ng good interactio­n between the two countries, calling on enterprise­s and people from both countries to strengthen mutual trust and cooperatio­n. This valuable interactio­n has enhanced mutual understand­ing of each other’s markets and laid a solid foundation for future cooperatio­n.
