KOTA KINABALU: The phase three of Acacia Menggatal, a four-storey apartment project with lift in Menggatal was launched on Saturday with more than 30 per cent secured sales.

Developed by SCP’s Maple Milestone Sdn Bhd, there are 256 units available in this final phase with its price range from RM266,000 to RM313,000.

SCP Chief Operating Officer, Lucas Wong said Acacia Menggatal was divided into three phases, where all 288 units in phase one were sold out.

“We are expected to hand over all units in phase one by fourth quarter this year. Meanwhile, phase two has 256 units with more than 95 per cent sold and is expected to be completed in 2025,?he said during an interview on Saturday.

With another 256 units available under phase three, Wong said about 30 per cent were sold as of the launching date.

Phase three is expected to be completed in 2026.

With various facilities such as multipurpose hall, gymnasium and playground, the company is targeting first-time home buyers, new couples and also locals who require more rooms for their family members.

Despite being a peninsularbased developer, SCP has been receiving positive feedback from Sabahans through its previous projects such as Inanam Capital, Ashton Tower, Bukit Damaisari Menggatal and Damaisari Kolombong. The company is expected to launch another project in Menggatal this year.

“We already secured more lands in Kota Kinabalu and planning is already underway.

“To us, what we want to do is to bring up this side of Kota Kinabalu and we want to tell people that it is an upcoming area,”he added.

Present at the launching ceremony were SCP Chief Executive Officer Low Kiang Hoon and Chief Finance Officer Chuah Jin Teik.
