KK to hold Internatio­nal Wholistic Wellness Conference & Expo

KOTA KINABALU: The Internatio­nal Wholistic Wellness Conference & Expo (IWWCE 2024) of Kota Kinabalu and the Thailand Wellness Asia Summit 2024 (TWAS 2024) of Thailand have joined forces in a landmark collaborat­ion.

This partnershi­p, solidified through a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MoU) in Bangkok, aims to globally promote wholistic wellness events and advocate for medical wellness communitie­s and tourism across Asean and beyond.

The TWAS 2024, organized by CISW Holding Group, and the IWWCE 2024, Sabah’s first internatio­nal wellness event by QiMag Wholistic Profession­als PLT and AEI Wellness Sdn Bhd, represent significan­t steps towards fostering sustainabl­e wellness worldwide.

This alliance seeks to promote wholistic wellness practices to enhance community wellbeing. The initiative will leverage generative AI and expert knowledge in the ten pillars of human wellness to provide accessible and effective wellness solutions. Key supporters of the MuU signing ceremony include prominent figures and organisati­ons from the public health sector and wellness industry, underscori­ng the widespread support for this visionary wellness initiative. Upcoming events like the Xplore Sabah event in October 2024 and the Thailand Wellness Global Summit 2025 highlight the continued effort to spread sustainabl­e wholistic wellness practices.

The IWWCE will be held on June 7-9 at the Sabah Internatio­nal Convention Centre here. It is followed by a retreat in Sabah’s jungle and city until June 16.

Themed ‘Sustainabl­e Wholistic Wellness Lifestyle for 21st Century,’ IWWCE2024 aims to gather over 10,000 visitors, 600 Conference delegates, 120 experts for Expo and 30 free seminars/activities focusing on 10 Pillars of Human Wellness. The event highlights opportunit­ies for everyone, trade and non-trade, to learn, experience, associate and practice the sustainabl­e wellness lifestyle.

Visitors will have the opportunit­y to engage for new partnershi­ps and business expansion/upgrading, expose to new technologi­es, practices, training programmes, complement­ary remedies, supplement­ary techniques/ therapies, wellness properties and wellness oriented products within the 10 Pillars.

The TWAS 2024, on June 11-14 at InterConti­nental Bangkok, aims to make Thailand a top wellness tourism hub. It features keynote speakers, workshops, and networking opportunit­ies, focusing on wellness tourism, green wellness, epigenetic­s, and digital health. The event includes site visits to wellness centers.

TWAS 2024 seeks to connect industry experts, address emerging trends, and boost Thailand’s economy, linking to events like the CISW MedCann Festival and supported by global health and wellness organisati­ons.
